Our business focus has always been on the retail customer. We do not focus on the wholesale market. When you come to River Valley Gardens you will be treated like a large customer because you are. You are the backbone of our business and will be treated as such.
We deliver and stack your firewood where you need it. You can come and pick up and we will load it for you. If it is raining or snowing, we will load you from dry warehouse.
We have a wide variety of firewood. We have Oak, Mixed Hardwoods, Birch, Kiln Dried Hardwoods, Cherry and Hickory.
You can get as little as a bundle or as much as you like.
We have what we consider to be the best Mulch, Compost, Super soil garden mix and topsoil.
Our environmental pledge.
We here at River Valley Gardens take great pride in our recycling efforts. Every end cut, piece of scrap, down to the bits of saw dust are gathered up and recycled. That recycled material is then turned into the very mulch that we sell back to our customers. We do not cut trees down to make our mixed hardwoods or our oak firewood. All of that firewood was made from trees that had to be removed for other reasons. Our Compost and the main ingredient for our super soil comes from recycled yard waste, most likely collected from your very own homes. We even have a small mill on site to make boards.
The Kiln Dried North Woods Hardwoods, Birch, Cherry and Hickory. These are woods that we typically purchase in. They come from managed forests in Northern Wisconsin. Typically, sections of forests are cleared off and replanted. This helps prevent forest fires. Also, a great renewable resource.
